Sarah Hessenauer is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for the Social Work at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Sarah received her PhD in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She also has her Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors of Arts in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. Sarah is a licensed clinical social worker. Sarah has co-authored two social work textbooks, Understanding Human Behavior in the Social Environment and Social Work With Groups: Comprehensive Practice and Self-Care, along with several professional articles. Sarah’s research interests included undergraduate social work education and coping in social work.
