Students of a sophomore or higher standing with a GPA of 2.75 or above are eligible to apply to the program. Students must have their project approved by a faculty mentor and the student must be enrolled as a full time undergraduate during the project. What is Public History?
Public History is for students interested in pursuing a career in history beyond teaching. Public Historians work in museums, archives, the fields of historic preservation, film and digital history, historical consulting, oral history, among others.
