Services Provided: There are seven (7) public libraries (Beloit, Clinton, Edgerton, Evansville, Janesville, Milton, and Orfordville) that are members of the Arrowhead Library System. 16 non-public libraries are affiliate members of the system. The primary service of the system is that all Rock County residents have access to all seven public libraries. The system provides interlibrary loan (borrows material from other libraries for people), increase book collections of all libraries by allowing access, offers continuing education activities to librarians in the area, delivery system for member libraries, and consultant services. Through contracts with nearby systems, Rock County residents may borrow materials from any public library in neighboring counties. Whitewater Public Library is also open to Rock County residents through a special contract.
