Services Provided: Kids Camp, Adult Retreat, Support groups, Seizure Clinic, emergency assistance, employment and transportation issues, Individual Education Plans for school age children, education for family members, H.O.P.E. mentorship program, political advocacy and guidance. Community Education including: Epilepsy Awareness, Seizure First Aid, Puppet Shows for 1st through 5th grade, Entitled to Respect program for teens and "tweens", Get the Word Out Contest (National Winner in 2003), Content appropriate presentations for professional education, health and industry leaders, educational conferences on various epilepsy related issues of interest to different groups and more. There is never a charge for services or presentations.
People Served (who is eligible): People with a primary diagnosis of epilepsy and their families for client services and the general public, agencies and organizations for community education.
