Services Provided: We offer as a service "spay/neuter assistance" to low-income pet owners. Our mission statement is based on 5 points:

Accessibility to persons with a disability: Yes
Area Served: RCHS provides some animal control related services to the City of Beloit and will assist in the investigation of cruelty and neglect to animals at the request of the Sheriff's department. All other services are offered through the county.
Source of Funds: Not for profit organization who's base source of funding is memberships and donations. Service contracts with some municipalities and townships provide some revenue. Fund raising events contribute a large portion of our operating monies. Some of those yearly events are the annual Spring Auction and Rummage sale, summer Dog Washes and Tag Days, fall Cause for the Paws and winter Tree of Hope and craft sales.
Additional information: The single purpose of the Humane Society is the prevention of cruelty to animals. This activity is addressed in the following ways: (1) the maintenance of a shelter to house homeless animals, (2) the operation of an adoption program to place those animals into new homes, (3) the investigation of reported cases of cruelty/neglect, with recommendations for improved care, and (4) the development of an educational program that will reduce the incidence of cruelty/neglect and over population.
