Services Provided: Transitional living facility for adult male offenders who are re-entering society on probation or parole. Individual treatment plans include:

• Alcohol and other drug issues
• Relapse prevention
• Understanding and managing feelings
• Domestic violence issues and anger management
• Money management
• Skills for independent daily living

Summary of Expected Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes of Student Interns: Field placements will shadow our counselors for the first half of the internship. This will help the intern understand the program's policies and procedures, how the program runs on a daily basis, and give them a background in this part of the social work field. During the second half of the internship each field placement is given one or two clients to work with. This will include running groups, doing the one-on-one counseling sessions, doing all the necessary paperwork involved with the case, as well as other opportunities as they arise.
