Summary of Expected Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes of Student Interns: Intern will participate with the team. That could include admissions, visits, family meetings, providing inservices, and death visits. Learning the charting process in hospice. Awareness of Medicare, Medicaid, and other funding sources. The intern could take on a couple patients to follow and provide for their psych/soc needs. May also work on a project of updating the social work resource binder.
