Services Provided: An opportunity for someone in the field of social work to be able to work with a very diverse population, ethnically and socio-economically. Teamwork is the model and many opportunities to exercise the knowledge base they have been developing through their class work.

Summary of Expected Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes of Student Interns: To work side-by-side with those who are running programs for 6 through 18 year olds. To see the beginning stages of what is needed to impact a child's life to effect positive change. to help develop and implement lesson plans to insure the aforementioned changes. I am a licensed social worker with at least 15 years of experience supervising interns from an array of colleges, including Whitewater. I have over 30 years of social work experience and have found through the feedback of the interns I have supervised, to bridge their book learning with hands-on work.
