Services Provided: Porchlight provides shelter, housing and supportive services to homeless individuals and families in Dane County. An incomplete list of services includes:
- Therapeutic case management
- Assistance with accessing financial, legal, employment, clinical, or other services in the community

Summary of Expected Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes of Student Interns:
- Interns can expect to learn how various state/local/federal agencies work together to meet the needs of this population
- Interns can expect to gain understanding of the true characteristics of homeless individuals and families and will be able to evaluate the efficacy of various interventions
- Interns will gain experience in case management, clinical intervention, and advocacy
- Opportunities to do AODA/MH assessment are also avaialble
