Services Provided: Work release--allows inmates to pay off outstanding debts before their release back into the community.

Community crews--Inmates work within surrounding communities.

GED/HSED--Enables inmates to receive high school education.

AA/NA/AODA/SMART--All inmates with identified needs have these groups to choose from and attend.

AODA Level II--10-week program for aftercare need.

Summary of Expected Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes of Student Interns: Some of the expected responsibilities and learning outcomes include familiarizing the intern with the process of release planning, the preparation for transition back into the society. Some other expectations are becoming more knowledgeable of the Department of Corrections, assuming responsibility for small case loads, learning different case management skills. Also learning more crisis intervention skills.
