Criteria:

• Junior or Senior Social Work Major, currently enrolled in the social work program at UW-Whitewater
• Minimum of six semester hours in social work
• Achieved an overall UWW grade point average of 3.5 or above based on a four-point scale
• Nomination by majority of social work department faculty.

Procedure: Nomination letters are sent out in February of each year. $40 lifetime membership fee. Induction ceremony is held in May at the Social Work Department Banquet, including a certificate and honor cords to be worn at Graduation.

Navarre Memorial Scholarship for Service

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum overall GPA of 2.25
• Awarded in spring to a social work student who has complete 60 credits overall
• One page narrative documenting financial need
• One to two page narrative documenting meritorious leadership and service to the campus or community
• Completed application form

Procedure: Announcements are made in February for applications due in March.
