*Ms. Golembiewski is the recipient of the 2002 Academic Staff Excellence Award.
Research interests include carnivorous plants and Wisconsin wetlands. Ms. Golembiewski maintains a collection of carnivorous plants at UW-Whitewater. She has studied the water chemistry and vegetation of several Wisconsin fens. She serves on the board of the Wisconsin Wetlands Association.
Carnivorous plants are truly Ms. Golembiewski's passion. She teaches the fun-filled Young Scholars course entitled "The Weird, Wild, Wacky, and Wonderful World of Carnivorous Plants" for second through fourth grade students. She has written numerous regionally published articles and speaks to a wide variety of groups on the topic of carnivorous plants. Ms. Golembiewski has been a board member and the Education Coordinator for the International Carnivorous Plant Society.
