Leda Nath earned her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2002. Her areas of research interests are diverse and include social psychology, gender, the workplace, the environment, non-financial factors that influence investment, and research in scholarship in teaching and learning. She teaches SOC 476 Social Research Methods, one of the required courses for majors, as well as Social Psychology, Family and the Workplace, Organizations and Society, Social Problems and Individual & Society. Many of her classes are offered either in the classroom or online. In addition to research and teaching, Dr. Nath enjoys mentoring students on their own research projects, advising students about careers and graduate school, and she also serves on several committees on campus and off campus. At home she enjoys parenting, painting, and gardening.
