David Cartwright attempts to teach (sometimes with success) Introduction to Philosophy, Logic, Environmental Ethics, Business Ethics, Modern Philosophy, 19^th Century Philosophy, and World of Ideas.  His research has focused on 19^th century German philosophy, primarily the philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer, and his favorite color is black.
