Alyson Prude joins the department as an ASIANetwork Luce Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow for the academic year 2011-12.  She is currently co-teaching Introduction to Eastern Religions in the fall and developing an online version of Eastern Religious Thought to be offered in the spring.  She specializes in South Asian religions, particularly contemporary Buddhist practice in Tibet and the Himalayan regions of Nepal.
