Scholarships for Continuing Students
Caroll and Kay Flanagan Scholarship
This scholarship was created to recognize students majoring in mathematics with exemplary accomplishments in the beginning courses of the mathematics major.
Students must have sophomore or junior standing, a GPA in the major of at least 2.67, have completed Calculus I and II, and at least one other mathematics course at UWW beyond Calculus II. l.
Chuck and Martha Heinrich Scholarship
Students must be a UW-W junior or senior at the time of the award, maintain a GPA of at least 3.0, and declared a major in either Mathematics or Sociology in the College of Letters and Sciences. Students pursuing a BSE in Mathematics are not eligible for this scholarship.
Clayton Droullard Mathematics Scholarship
Candidate must be a registered UW-Whitewater student of junior or senior standing for the award period, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have declared a major or minor in mathematics. This scholarship was created to recognize mathematics students who demonstrate leadership in the community or campus while maintaining academic success.
Marion B Schlicher Scholarship
Candidate must have junior or senior status with a 2.75 overall GPA. Preference will be given to those students who have completed six hours of upper division courses higher than Math 255, excluding Math 355.
Mark & Dianne Fiebrink Scholarship
The candidate must be a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of application, a declared major in mathematics within the College of Letters and Sciences,
Makurat Mathematics Scholarship
The candidate must be a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of application and has been admitted to professional education in the College of Education and Professional Studies. The candidate must be a mathematics major or minor and maintain an overall academic GPA of at least 3.0.
William C Beck Scholarship
The award shall be made to students majoring in Mathematics and/or Physics. First priority will be given to students majoring in mathematics and minoring in physics. Second priority will be to students majoring in physics and minoring in mathematics. Third priority will be to all mathematics majors. The candidate must have maintained a GPA of at least 2.75 or better in mathematics and physics, with no grade below a C in mathematics or physics.

This scholarship will encourage students to pursue a computer science minor or a mathematics major with an emphasis in computer science.
Secondary education majors with a minor in computer science OR mathematics majors with preference given to students in the computer science track. Students must have an overall GPA of at least 2.50.
