The Dean's Advisory Council provides a forum for students to communicate their concerns and interests directly to the Dean. Since students are central to everything that we do, their perspective is highly valued. Including student representatives from all departments and programs in the College, the DAC representatives are encouraged to attend department meetings and to share their concerns with each other and with the Dean through regular meetings. Members of DAC also represent student perspectives on various College committees, such as the Budget and Planning Committee, and have networking opportunities to meet with alumni. If you are interested in participating in the Dean's Advisory Council, please contact the Chair of your major department or the Coordinator of your program. Appointments are made in the fall for the academic year. The agenda for the year is determined by the membership.
