TONY and ERIKA PRATER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
The Tony and Erika Prater Family scholarship was established by alumnus Tony Prater (UWW, Class of 1980) and his wife Erika to assist a Letters and Sciences major who has successfully completed business coursework and expressed an interest in a business career. The annual amount of the scholarship is $1,000 and is renewable contingent upon successful reapplication and selection. To be eligible, a student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, must be a declared Letters and Sciences major, and must have completed business coursework. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible.
Applications should include the following:
- A fully completed application form.
- A letter of recommendation, preferably from a professor or academic advisor who knows the student well.
- A personal statement which includes:
- The student's educational goals and how this scholarship will help achieve them;
- The student's need for financial aid; and
- Specific attributes which set the student apart as an applicant for consideration.
- A copy of student's academic report (AR).
