Making a difference through planned giving

Alumnus Rod Sonnenburg '81 takes great pride in his alma mater. "I'm proud of being from this school," Sonnenburg said. "I love UW-Whitewater, it's a great place."

A W-Club member and 2003 Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, Sonnenburg showed his Warhawk pride through a major gift to the UW-Whitewater Student Athletic Complex project. "I had a chance to help out and I took it," he said.

Sonnenburg's support of the university will continue with a planned gift of real estate for the College of L&S and Intercollegiate Athletics.

"I have seen the progress Dean Howard Ross and the College of Letters and Sciences has been making," Sonnenburg said. "It feels good to help make a difference," added Sonnenburg, who is currently a principal owner in the corporation, 2b Exhibits, inc., in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
