Awards and Accredititation

AACSB International
The College is a member of and is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - International at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Higher Learning Commission
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). NCA, founded in 1895, is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. Through its Commissions it accredits, and thereby grants membership to educational institutions in the North Central region. HLC is recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

North Central Association Commission on Accreditation
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater as a institution is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation. UW-Whitewater is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the American Council on Education, the Association of Teacher Education Institutions, the National Association of Business Teacher Education, and the National Commission on Accrediting.

CPA Exam
On the May 2003 Uniform CPA Exam, 74% of the UW-Whitewater accounting graduate students taking the exam for the first-time passed all four parts. This compares to the national average of 20% for first-time examinees, placing Whitewater fifth in the nation. In addition, between 1994 and 2003 Whitewater undergrads have appeared in the Top-10 fifteen out of twenty times.

Management Computer Systems Program
Whitewater's MCS program was ranked as the number one four-year computing degree program in the United States and Canada.

Institute of Management Accountants
One of top three in the country. Only school to have earned this honor 3 of 4 years.

American Production and Inventory Control Society
1st in region in student case competition; 5th consecutive Gold Circle Award to become a Platinum Chapter; student placed 2nd in nation in Student Paper Competition.
