UW-Whitewater’s College of Business and Economics:
Wisconsin’s Premier Business School on the Right-Sized Campus
Welcome to the College of Business and Economics web pages.
We are extremely proud of our ongoing tradition of excellence in the College of Business and Economics. From the early 1900's forward, Whitewater has been known throughout Wisconsin as the state’s “business school.” Today, we consistently provide ongoing measurable outcomes to substantiate our legacy of quality in business and management education.
The College of Business and Economics provides students with the skills and knowledge that allow them to succeed in today's global business environment. We stress significant faculty-student interaction in and outside the classroom, and have a commitment to fostering professional development by integrating rigorous academic excellence with exposure to real business experiences.
We meet our mission under the guidance of a faculty committed to excellence in teaching, sustained scholarship and relevance in a dynamic, global business environment. The College of Business and Economics has been accredited by AACSB-International (the premier accrediting agency for schools of business world-wide) for over thirty years.
Hyland Hall, the new $40 million College of Business and Economics academic building, is currently in construction and will be open for business in fall 2009. Hyland Hall will provide state-of-the-art environments for in and out-of-class learning, with group and individual study spaces, a trading room, a café and student organization offices, as well as many classrooms and cutting edge technology throughout the facility. You can follow building progress at our live webcam link http://www.uww.edu/cobe/building/cameras.html.
