Internship Opportunities

The Accounting Internship Program at UW-Whitewater offers students the unique opportunity of obtaining a hands-on learning experience in their prospective career field.

As an integral part of our 5-Year Masters of Professional Accountancy (MPA) program, students spend 3-1/2 months during the spring semester of their senior year working side-by-side with professionals, dealing with real-life issues facing the accounting profession. The program is designed to ensure that students stay on track, completing their degree without extending their time in school.

Students have a number of career choices, and this program allows students to pursue their own career path. With over 30 firms participating in the program, students can choose from a wide variety of firms, from small, local firms to the Big 4 international public accounting firms, as well as various private industries. There are firms to fit every students' needs. Often, these internships lead to full-time offers of employment. Click here to see a list of Intern Employers.

If you have any questions about the program, contact Bill Tatman, Accounting Internship Director, at tatmanw@uww.edu or (262) 472-1707.
