He Li profile picture

He Li is an assistant professor of finance at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Management, with a concentration in Finance at Purdue University Calumet in 2010. She then received her Master of Business Administration at Purdue University Calumet in 2012. In August 2012, He Li joined the Ph.D. of Business Administration program at the University of Texas at El Paso, with a concentration in Finance. He Li completed her Ph.D. in May 2017. Her dissertation is entitled “Essays on Corporate Vertical Integration”. He Li's research encapsulates the areas of corporate finance and financial accounting. A number of her research papers have been accepted for presentation by various international and national conferences in the finance and accounting disciplines, including the conferences of the Financial Management Association International (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), the American Accounting Association (2016), the Southern Finance Association (2016, 2017), the Financial Management Association Latin American (2017), the Financial Management Association European (2017), and the Spanish Finance Association (2017). Dr. He Li also has extensive teaching experience in finance and economics. Courses she has taught include Derivatives and Risk Management, Portfolio Analysis, Managerial Finance, International Finance, Personal Financial Planning, Investments, Business Finance and Microeconomics.
