The Management Department has very active student organizations. The ones which have annual regional and national conferences (and competitions) do very well and often win awards. These achievements reflect the high level of student and faculty activities and involvement. The student organizations promote various activities for and the development of core professional values that are distinctive to each major.
The student organizations of the three management majors are arranged thus:
| Major | Student Organizations |
| General Management | General Management Organization (GMO) Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) |
| Human Resources Management | Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) |
| Operations Management | American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) |
| International | International Business Association (IBA) |
Most of these student organizations have external affiliations. SIE is the official student body of the prestigious Academy of Management. A similar thing may be stated for SAM, SHRM and APICS. They are affiliated to the external organizations of the same respective names.
They promote: field trips, business contacts, student friendship, network with professionals in the region, formal meetings on and outside the campus, help in career development and placement preparation (e.g., resume development, interviewing strategy), professional socialization, preparation for annual regional and national conferences, building leadership skills and confidence in the profession.
