Dr. Winden’s major research field lies broadly in the area of environmental and natural resource economics. Specific areas of interest involve improving environmental valuation techniques and utilizing value estimates to inform local, state, and national policy outcomes. His other work in the areas of discrete choice modeling and conjoint choice experiments focuses on improving the econometric foundations within discrete choice modeling, as well as the use and implementation of conjoint choice modeling.
