Wisconsin's Premier Business School on the Right-Sized Campus
Welcome to the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater's College of Business & Economics. We are proud of students who are capable and hard-working, faculty who are committed to teaching and research, and alumni who regularly contribute to classrooms and share their expertise. Our 25 active student organizations give their members leadership experience, community service opportunities, and direct mentoring with business leaders. Our recruiters describe our students as technically superior with an outstanding work ethic.
We have just moved into a $41.5 million business building--Timothy J. Hyland Hall--that gives us tremendous opportunities for collaborating with regional businesses and government agencies. The building includes a trading room with Bloomberg terminal access, case-style classrooms, an IT networking lab, interview spaces, a café, and student organization offices. Technology throughout the building allows for podcasting and video recording at the same time as the design supplies areas for small group work and study areas.
The College of Business and Economics provides students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in today's global business environment. We stress significant faculty-student interaction in and outside the classroom, and have a commitment to fostering professional development by integrating rigorous academic excellence with exposure to real business experiences.
We meet our mission under the guidance of a faculty committed to excellence in teaching, sustained scholarship and relevance in a dynamic, global business environment. The College of Business and Economics has been accredited by AACSB-International (the premier accrediting agency for schools of business world-wide) for over 30 years. Only 30% of business schools in the US have earned this accreditation.
