- Supervise On-Line MBA Support Staff
- Provide technological support for all students enrolled in the Online MBA program. (Note: 13 classes will be offered in Fall, 2000 with enrollment of approximately 400 students.)
- Provide technological support for 25 faculty members teaching or interested in teaching on-line courses.
- Act as laison between faculty members team teaching with professors in International Hospitality and Tourism Degree Program.
- Plan, develop, and present faculty training workshops to improve on-line technical skills and teaching techniques.
- Act as laison between the server administrator and the faculty and students at UW-Whitewater.
- Develop and support marketing efforts for the Online MBA program.
- Develop and support web page efforts for the Online MBA program.
- Write grants to obtain funding to support the Online MBA program.
- Test new technological equipment that may be used to teach on-line courses in the future.
- Act as Master Teacher and assess courses prior to their being offered.
- Gather data through student surveys and interviews to identify how to improve Online MBA courses.
- Create master cd-rom for on-line courses and oversee production of cd-roms for students.

My most rewarding service activity is being the advisor for the student chapter of OSRA, an organization for computer technology majors.
Research:
Although my research interests vary, my primary interests concerns issues associated with distance education and computer technologies. At present, I have published over 25 articles and delivered over 40 presentations.
Research Awards:
Recipient of the Robert E. Slaughter Research Award for the best dissertation in the field of Business Education and Office Administration, 1990.
Recipient of the College of Business and Economics Research Award, 1996
