LAWTON Undergraduate Minority Retention Grant
These grants provide funds to undergraduate minority students (Hispanic, African-American, Native American, Southeast Asian) who are of at least sophomore status. Qualifying minorities must be U.S. citizens and Wisconsin residents who are enrolled at least half-time and making satisfactory academic progress. Students who demonstrate financial need must have a grade point average of 2.0 or better; students not eligible for financial aid must have a grade point average of 2.4 or better to be considered. Native American Grant
Up to $2,200 per year for Wisconsin residents who are at least 25% Native American or with tribal membership and are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in degree or certificate programs at University of Wisconsin, a Wisconsin technical college, independent colleges and universities or proprietary institutions throughout Wisconsin. Awards are based on financial need with a limit of ten semesters of eligibility.
Indian Student Assistance Program
The Indian Student Assistance Program grants are available to Native Americans who demonstrate financial need and are of one-fourth Native American lineage. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
