Here at the UW-Whitewater Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), we develop our students into Army Officers in either the regular Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserves. Our students learn discipline, physical fitness and leadership skills to assist them professionally in both the military and civilian world. After completing Army ROTC students earn the Gold Bar of a Second Lieutenant.
Additionally, our students participate in training exercises throughout the year, one in particular is our field training exercises in Fort McCoy, WI. Here students learn unit cohesion, self confidence, independence and leadership capabilities. Other Activities are Rappelling, Confidence Courses, Military Appreciation Day, Homecoming and Blackhawk Helicopter Rides, just to name a few.
UW-Whitewater creates quality leaders who go on to serve our country. Our students learn to lead from the front in today's workplace and in the Army. Please view our website for further information or visit the Army ROTC web site.
