Mark Rollefson, 1984 (BSE) ...
Mark Rollefson, a graduate of the College of Education who received his BSE in 1988, has won recognition as Wisconsin's 2007 middle school principal of the year.
Mr. Rollefson is the principal of the Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson, WI.
His selection was announced recently by Elizabeth Burmaster, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Thomas Beattie, Executive Director for the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators.
Mr. Rollefson will be honored later this year at the Annual National Association of Secondary School Principals' Institute and Awards Banquet to be held in Washington, D.C.
Mark continues to be associated with the College of Education through the Jefferson School District's' work with the Office of Field Experiences and the placement of student teachers and field experience students.
