Oaxaca Bake Sale & Silent Auction ...
Faculty and staff of the Curriculum and Instruction Department recently ran a Books for Oaxaca Bake Sale and Silent Auction. They raised close to $1,500 that will be used specifically to purchase needed books for schools in the Oaxaca, Mexico School District. Donations included those from teachers at the Sharon Community School. The bake sale is an annual event that supports schools outside of the US where UWW College of Education students practice teach. Donations can be made to the fund by making checks payable to the UWW Foundation and sending them to Dr. Anne Stinson, Chair of the Curriculum & Instruction Department.
