The following are the available undergraduate licensure programs at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater that qualify for teaching licenses granted by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. PreK-6 License
Pre-school all subjects
Kindergarten all subjects
Grades 1-6 all subjects
Elementary 1-6 License
Grades 1-6 all subjects
Elementary/Middle 1-9 License
Grades 1-6 all subjects
Grades 7-8 all subjects in self contained elementary school
Grades 7-8 language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health and/or the minor in a departmentalized middle or junior high school
Grade 9 minor in departmentalized middle or junior high school
Middle/Secondary 6-12 License
Grades 6-12 major and/or minor in departmentalized middle, junior or senior high school
K-12 License
Grades K-12 major at any level or type of school organization
Special Education License
EC:EEN birth to age 8
MR Elementary grades K-9
MR Secondary grades 6-12
Severely Profound MR grades K-12
LD Elementary grades K-9
