Purpose/Mission

The focus of the Recruitment and Retention Office is to increase enrollment and graduation rates of underrepresented students in the College of Education and Professional Studies. Our recruitment and retention staff works collaboratively with admissions, campus, and community partners to connect with students interested in majors in the College of Education and Professional Studies. We travel to schools and communities around the state to meet with prospective students.

In addition to recruitment, our staff members also meet with current students in the College of Education and Professional Studies on a regular basis and assist them with transition, financial aid, scholarships, community building, crisis intervention, career planning, and networking. We are strongly committed to providing a welcoming learning environment for our students.
