We suggest that students travel to China in pairs or to China with another student teacher. There is a non-stop daily flight from Chicago to Beijing or Shanghai. Then you may fly to Chongqing. The airfare varies depending on the season and how far in advance the round trip airline tickets are purchased. Usually, summertime and Chinese New Year are high demand seasons. Van Galder provides bus service from Janesville to O'Hare.
Chongqing Nankai Middle School will provide free transportation for UW-W student teachers to/from the Chongqing airport to the living/school site.
