Who We Are

We are the Wisconsin Instructional Technology Resource Center (WITRC). Our goal is to better the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater by fulfilling the individual technological needs of its students and faculty.

What We Do

• Support computer labs which are available to individuals and classes.
• Loan an assortment of portable equipment to faculty that includes laptops, projectors, iPads, still and video cameras.
• Support a production area for website and AV media.
• Support the technology classrooms located throughout the College of Education and Professional Studies, many of which contain SmartBoards.
• Consult educators on technology purchasing options.
• Support collaboratory labs which are available for student reservation.

Hours

Winther Hall 1006 Labs

• Fall and spring semesters:
  • Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm
  • Friday: 9am-4pm
• Summer hours vary.

Williams Center 187 Lab

• Fall and spring semesters:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
  • Friday: 8am-2pm
• Closed during the summer.
