Challenging Advanced Learners

This emphasis is for students who already have a teaching license and want to obtain the Gifted Teacher or Gifted Coordinator license, or those who want to focus their graduate work on the development of “21st Century Skills” in their students. This program is conducted jointly with UW-Stevens Point. Applicants for admission to this emphasis area must hold or be eligible for a professional teaching license in the State of Wisconsin for teaching in a public school. Exceptions to this admission policy may be made by the program coordinator on a case-by-case basis.
