College Advancement
This office is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating the College's alumni, communications, and fund raising goals.
English as a Second Language (ESL) and Bilingual Education (BE) Licensure Programs
The licensure program offers a minor in both English as a Second Language (ESL) and Bilingual Education (BE). In addition, this program offers support to ESL/Bilingual teachers by providing professional development, an online resource center, and a professional library funded through Project SWEETT.
Field Experiences
The Office coordinates field studies and directed teaching experiences for students, acting as the liaison between the college and the schools.
Future Teacher Program
This program helps multicultural students successfully make the transition from high school to college at UW-Whitewater. Its goal is to increase enrollment, retention and graduation rates of undergraduate multicultural students who major in education.
Minority Teacher Preparation Program
MTPP is a specialized support program, and a cooperative effort between the College of Education and campus Academic Support programs. It is unique in its mission to provide opportunities and educational campus experience designed to increase the academic success of American ethnic minority students interested in pursuing careers in teacher education.
Licensure Renewal Support
This office provides PI 34 license renewal-related services to educators employed by Wisconsin public and private schools and educational agencies.
Wisconsin Instructional Technology Resource Center
WITRC provides technology support to College of Education students and faculty. Computer labs, multimedia production and other technology services are available.
