Art Education Catalog Program Licensure
Art Education Bachelor of Science in Education: A broad preparation in Studio, Art History, and Educational Methods results in licensure to teach Art in grades K-12. Alternative licensing routes can be developed through the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in the College of Arts and Communications.
Business Education Catalog Program Licensure
Business Education * Bachelor of Science in Education: By completing the Business Education program, students will be eligible for the Department of Public Instruction License 250. This license enables graduates to teach business subjects at grades 6-12.
Marketing Education * Bachelor of Science in Education: Various licensures provide the opportunity to teach middle and secondary students in marketing subjects
Business & Marketing Education Comprehensive * Bachelor of Science in Education: The Business & Marketing Education Comprehensive major allows the students to obtain two Department of Public Instruction licensures-250 Business and 285 Marketing. School districts favor this combination as it gives them flexibility in staffing. Also, an add-on DPI license for elementary keyboarding is available.
Communication Sciences & Disorders Catalog Program Licensure
Communicative Disorders Bachelor of Arts: Students in this major are not required to take a minor.
  Bachelor of Science in Education: This major does not require a minor. Writing Proficiency Requirement: See chairperson for course(s) that satisfy this requirement. Additional Licensure Requirements:For state licensure and national certification a prospective speech-language pathologist must have completed a master's degree in communicative disorders with undergraduate training totaling at least 60 semester Credit hours and at least 30 units in courses taken for graduate Credit.
  Bachelor of Science: Students in this major are not required to take a minor.
Early Childhood Education (Dual Licensure) Catalog Program Licensure
Early Childhood Regular Education and Early Childhood Special Education

Bachelor of Science in Education: The Early Childhood Education apply for admission to Professional Education one term earlier than for other College of Education programs, for the fall term. Students will be admitted to the ECE program once a year.

ECE4U (online and blended program)

Bachelor of Science in Education: ECE4U Online & Blended courses for Early Childhood Associate Degree transfer students.

Program for teaching children from birth to third grade in both regular and special education settings.

Elementary Education Catalog Program Licensure
Elementary/Middle Bachelor of Science in Education: A major in Elementary/Middle results in teaching grade levels 1-8 and 7-9 in an approved minor.
Middle / Secondary Education (6-12) Catalog Program Licensure
Biology, Broad Field Social Studies, Physical Science, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Earth Science,French, German, Political Science, Economics, History, Psychology, English, Mathematics, Sociology, Spanish, Theatre Bachelor of Science in Education: The Middle/Secondary Education programs prepare students to teach specific subjects in grades 6-12. Students in Middle/Secondary Education complete an Education major in one of the subjects from the list to the left, plus a minor of at least 22 units in any other subject.
Music Education Catalog Program Licensure
Music Education General Emphasis (K-12) * Bachelor of Music: The Music Education General Emphasis is designed to prepare the student for a career of teaching general music in grades K-12, and leads to licensure in elementary and secondary general music.
Music Education Choral Emphasis (6-12) * Bachelor of Music: The Music Education Choral Emphasis is designed to prepare the student for a career of teaching choral music in grades 6-12, and leads to licensure in secondary choral music.
Music Education Instrumental Emphasis (K-12) * Bachelor of Music: The Music Education Instrumental Emphasis is designed to prepare the student for a career of teaching instrumental music in the public schools (K - 12). Students who wish to add general music licensure to the program of studies in the instrumental emphasis must complete additional course work.
Physical Education Catalog Program Licensure
Broadfield (K-12) Bachelor of Science in Education: 54-unit major and includes course work leading to a broadfield (K-12) public school licensure.
Physical Education Health Human Performance & Recreation Bachelor of Science in Education: 35-unit non-licensure major, also requiring a minor, leading to careers outside the public schools in the area of Health Promotion, Human Performance and Recreation.
Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health Catalog Program Licensure
Occupational Safety Bachelor of Science: Major Grade Point Average Requirement: 2.5. GPA Requirements for Internship and to Graduate: To obtain an internship and graduate the student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in the major and as an overall college average. Writing Proficiency Requirement: See chairperson for course(s) that satisfy this requirement.
Driver Education Driver Education Licensure is part of the Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health Department curriculum. This is a Department of Public Instruction approved program which provides current or potential licensed teachers an additional certification to teach driver's education. This is not a stand alone certification/licensure.
Construction Safety Emphasis Bachelor of Science: The emphasis will provide the student with a comprehensive background in construction safety and enable him/her to carry out work site hazard assessments, develop and implement safety and health programs, and fulfill risk management responsibilities in the construction industry.
Special Education Catalog Program Licensure
Early Childhood Special Education Bachelor of Science in Education: Undergraduates can be licensed in Early Childhood Special Education only by majoring in Early Childhood Education (dual licensure program).
Cross Categorical(CC) Program with Cognitive Disabilities(CD) Emphasis (1-12)  

Cross Categorical(CC) Program with Emotional Behavioral Disorder(EBD)/Learning Disabilities(LD) Emphasis (1-12)
