Welcome to the Department of Special Education. Our department offers numerous programs to meet the needs of both undergraduate and graduate students. Special Educators continue to be in high demand. Undergraduates may pursue licensure in either our Cross Categorical or the Early Childhood Education dual licensure program. Or consider our minor in Special Education. Graduate students may pursue licensure in Cross Categorical disabilities or expand on previous licensure in special education in our MSE Professional Development. Finally, every summer consider our Institute. Each year a new hot topic is available to support current educators in the field.
