NOTES:
For the third and fourth semesters, the cohort is divided into two teams.  The two teams (the full cohort) take most courses together, and each team completes student teaching A and B separately. While students complete Student Teaching B, they also take Medical Aspects of Disability SPECED 375. The reason for forming teams is that there are not enough Birth to Three student teaching placements available for thirty students in one semester.  Therefore, one team completes Student Teaching A (infant/toddler) during the third semester and the other team completes Student Teaching A during the fourth semester. Birth-to-Three programs are county-based, which means that there is usually only one program per county (except for larger counties like Milwaukee).  Often the sites want one student teacher at a time so that the families or the professionals in the program are not overwhelmed.
