Tuesday June 23 on the UW-Whitewater Campus

The third Challenging Advanced Learners Academy (CALA) for educators will be held on the UWW campus Tuesday June 23, 2015.  This year CALA will be a one-day “Differentiation Summit,” in order to focus on the most-requested professional development topic related to the education of advanced and gifted/talented learners.  With morning keynoters and afternoon facilitated small group work, this summit will help classroom teachers learn and apply specific strategies to differentiate for advanced learners in the regular classroom (supporting educator effectiveness standards in both the Danielson and Stronge models).  $65/person (includes lunch) - come on your own or bring a school team!  For more information or to register, go to or contact Dr. Sue Schaar at
