The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater offers a graduate degree with an emphasis in gifted and talented for educators. The emphasis program title is "Challenging Advanced Learners." This program involves 12 credits of core courses and 18 credits of emphasis and elective courses, for a total of 30 leading to the MSE (Master of Science in Education).
Included below is an example course rotation for the degree. This is very flexible, as course enrollment can be stretched over a longer period of time. Most courses can be taken in a hybrid format (online with a few face-to-face meetings). Those interested should contact the program coordinators (see FAQ page).
