ABOUT

E. Andrew Kapp, Ph.D., CSP, CHMM, REM is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of the West Indies. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to his position at UW-Whitewater Andrew has been in government service, consulting, and private industry. Currently he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in occupational safety and health, hazardous materials management, and environmental management. Dr. Kapp's research interests include leadership and safety performance, and systemic approaches to accident prevention. He has published numerous articles, book chapters, and technical reports and is a regular presenter at regional and national events in these areas. Dr Kapp is a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and Registered Environmental Manager.
