Minutes of November 13, 2014

 

 

1.  Roll:  Present:  Rowand Robinson, Chair; Jenni Petersen; Mike Laughlin; John Zbikowski; Brooke Winchell; Lynn Gilbertson; Jillian Smith; Christina Panella; and Jeff Cook.  Absent:  LTC Carl Meredith and Tracy Arneson-Baker.  Guests:  Lana Collet-Klingenberg, Kelly Witte, Kristina Navarro, Lucinda Heimer, Eileen Schroeder, Julie Minikel-Lacocque and Sharon Kolb.

2. Approval of Agenda

On a Laughlin/Cook motion, the agenda was approved.

On a Laughlin/Cook motion, the agenda was amended to move the Special Education, the Health, Physical Eduction, Recreation and the Educational Foundations proposals to the top of the agenda.  Motion carried.

 

3. Approval of the minutes of October 9, 2014

On a Zbikowski/Petersen motion, the mintues of October 9 were approved as written.  Motion carried.

5. Information Items:

Rowand Robinson reported that the revision of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree has been approved.

 

It is strongly encouraged that the sponsor of a proposal follow their proposal through the College Curriculum Committee and the University Curriculum Committee until it has been passed. The sponsor is in the best position to respond to questions concerning their proposal and in expediting the approval process.
