Warhawk Co-ed Bowling Camp
About The Camp
Elite: June 20-24, 2010
The 2009 Warhawk Co-Ed Bowling camps are recommended for bowlers ages 10-18. Bowling camps will assist athletes in gaining more knowledge of the game, working on physical and mental aspects of the game and experiencing a variety of lane conditions. The camps will feature “sport” patterns to help athletes advance and improve upon their bowling skills. During both camps, campers will be placed into different groups based upon skill level depending on the activity taking place.
What is the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN the general camps and the elite camp?
One of the main differences between the general camp and the elite camp is that the elite camp is 1 day longer than the general camp. Registration for the elite camp will be limited to males that average 175 and higher and females that average 165 and higher. There is an average requirement due to the more in-depth discussions about lane patterns, ball choices, ball drillings, advanced practice techniques as well as mental game preparation. While all of these things mentioned will be discussed at our general camp, the discussion at our elite camp will be much more extensive. The elite camp is geared towards bowlers that already have a good grasp on the sport of bowling and are ready for more in-depth analysis of the sport. ALL bowling at the elite camp will be done on "sport" conditions.
If there are any further questions as to which camp would make a better fit please e-mail Amber Griffin, Camp Director, at griffina@uww.edu . She will provide additional assistance in deciding which camp best fits the bowler's interest.
