About The Camp
The Warhawk Bowling Day Camp is a co-ed camp for campers ages 13-18. This camp will teach campers both the physical and mental skills needed to improve their bowling game while creating a fun and exciting learning environment. It is our goal to help campers improve their bowling game by an average of 10 or more pins. We encourage and welcome bowlers of all skill levels, but encourage campers with advanced skills in high school and middle school bowling. The purpose of Warhawk Bowling Day Camp is to teach every camper the fundamental and advanced skills necessary to make him or her a better bowler.
Focus of Instruction
Campers will learn more about their physical game including:
- 4 and 5 step approach
- Proper follow through (Arm swing - Release - Hand positioning - Timing)
- Lane play(How to read the lanes, knowing when to make a move and playing a sport shot correctly)
- Spare shooting
- Strike shot
- Pre-shot rituals
- Equipment and team building activities
Food
The dining hall is located in close proximity to the University Center and serves well-balanced meals. Meals are included in the camp fee. Lunch is not offered on Day 1.
Equipment
Warhawk Bowling Day Campers are responsible for bringing their own ball and shoes. Extras will be available at no cost for campers who do not have their own ball and shoes. It is recommended that campers bring a bag and water bottle. Proper attire recommended- t-shirt, shorts and athletic shoes.

Camp Fees & Insurance
The camp fee is $175 and includes meals, insurance,
instructional materials and camp t-shirt. Each camper
will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy.
The insurance includes primary coverage up to $7,500 and
$300 maximum dental insurance. Insurance does not cover
pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. The cost of
insurance is included in the registration fee.
Camp Staff
Leann Eimermann
Leann Eimermann was a four-year letter
winner for the Warhawk bowling team,
beginning with the 2006-2007 season and
ending with her graduation in May 2010.
Eimermann was captain of the Warhawk
team that earned a berth in the 2010
United States Bowling Congress National
Tournament, where UW-Whitewater placed tenth out of
sixteen teams in the position rounds and advanced to the
second round of the head-to-head competition. She also
contributed to the second highest team single game total (five
bowlers, one game) in school history, a 1095 on November 2,
2008, at the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational, and the school
record Baker game, a 261 against Saint Peter’s College at
the Kutztown (PA) Invite January 31, 2010. Eimermann
worked as a junior league coordinator and marketing intern
at King Pin Lanes in Campbellsport, Wisconsin, while in high
school and college (2003-2010). During the 2010-2011 school
year, she coached the Campbellsport High School boy’s
team to an eighth place finish in the Wisconsin State High
School Tournament. At the same time, she was the assistant
manager and marketing coordinator for Dan’s King Pin Family
Fun Center in Mayville, Wisconsin, where she worked with
local businesses and organizations to set up leagues.
