Fall Festival Features

  • Festival Massed Choir Rehearsals & Recording Session

When: Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Where: Greenhill Center of the Arts & Young Auditorium

Cost: $6.00 per singer in your choir, plus music (see below)

Registrations will be accepted until the festival is filled. Please do not order the Massed Choir music until you receive email confirmation of your registration.

This year we are again offering the opportunity for outstanding student soloists to be coached by UW-W voice faculty. Students who are interested should prepare two selections, one of which must be an art song or aria (any language). UW-W voice professors Julie Cross and Brian Leeper will listen to student auditions during the morning of the festival and give brief comments to each student. Two or three students will be selected for additional coaching and for a performance during the afternoon Festival Concert. Unlike last year, there is no separate registration fee for this program, but interested students must fill out a separate Outstanding Soloist Registration Form (attached) and return it by October 10.
