The Camps
The philosophy of our girls' basketball camps is to provide quality instruction in all phases of the game. Campers will receive individual attention from highly skilled coaches and players. An emphasis will be placed on improving their individual games and instruction will be aimed at improving fundamental skills such as shooting, passing, ball handling, rebounding, individual offense and individual defense.
To maximize the experience, campers will be divided into teams where they will work closely with their teammates and coach. Each player will receive individual attention from their team coach as well as the camp directors. Teams will have limited numbers and all campers will get the opportunity to participate equally.
Our aim is to not only improve the campers' skill level but to improve their level of enjoyment for the game as well. A series of competitions throughout their stay at camp will increase their determination to succeed as well as their desire to play the game. All of these things are what make UW-Whitewater girls' basketball camps some of the best in Wisconsin.

Camp Director
Keri Carollo, Head Coach
Coach Keri Carollo is in her eighth year as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at UW-Whitewater. During the 2008-09 season Coach Carollo guided her team to a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III national tournament and finished the season with a record of 23-5. In 2007-08 the Warhawks had the best season in school history finishing 29-4, winning a WIAC championship and making it to the final four in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. Carollo has coached eight all-conference athletes, two all-region athletes, and one All-American.
Carollo began her coaching career as a graduate assistant for two years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. After her stay in La Crosse, she moved on to become the head assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. While at Stout, the team ranked in the top three of the WIAC, won the conference championship and earned an NCAA Division III Tournament berth during the 2001-2002 season.
Camp Staff
UW-Whitewater Head Coach Keri Carollo and Assistant Coaches Amy Zelinger and Joe Carollo will provide organization and instruction at all camp sessions with the assistance of Warhawk players and local high school coaches. The camper to coach ratio is approximately 10:1.
