About the Softball Pitching Clinics
Pitching Clinic - Saturday, February 23 (Maximum 50 participants per session)
Provide your own catcher, if possible, at no additional fee)
Session 1: 8:30 am - 11:00 am Intermediate
Basic pitching skills will be stressed. This session is recommended for players in grades 4 through 9 and those who have not attended a previous clinic.
Session 2: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm Advanced
Basic pitching skills will be stressed. The development of new pitches and advanced skills will be introduced. This session is recommended for high school players in grades 10-12 and those who have attended a pitching clinic previously.

About Warhawk Softball
The Warhawk softball team is proud of the winning tradition that has become a habit at UW-Whitewater. The women have appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament in 1983, 1984 (fourth), 1985 (third), 1986, 1987 (second), 1988, 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2003. The Warhawks were the WIAC Champions in 1980, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1996 and 1999, as well as the WIAC post season tournament champion in 2003 and runners up in 2004. The year 2008 should prove to be another successful year for the Warhawks. Through our winter clinics, we provide the opportunity for all student athletes to become part of a successful and winning tradition.
Clinic Facilities
The facilities for the Warhawk Softball Clinics are excellent. All sessions will take place in the Kachel Fieldhouse. It features four batting cages and over 300 feet of throwing space available for instruction.

. UW-Whitewater pitching coach of #1 and #2 all-time win, strikeout, and save leaders as well as #2 and #3 all-time complete game leaders.

2008 Clinic Fees
Fees for the clinics include instructional costs, supplies and educational materials.
$50 - Player - 1 Clinic
$90 - Player - 2 Clinics
Applications must include full payment.
Insurance
Each camper will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee. Precautions will be taken to prevent any accidents, and there will be camp health supervisors available. The insurance includes primary insurance coverage up to $1000, secondary coverage up to $5000 and $300 maximum dental insurance. (Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for camp-related accidents only.)

Online Application Form
There will be a maximum of 50 participants for each pitching session and 60 participants for each of the hitting sessions. Admittance will be on a first come, first-serve basis. Preregistration is required to ensure placement in the session of your choice. Register by Monday, February 11 for the Hitting Clinics and Monday, February 18 for the Pitching Clinics. Check-in times and location will be provided on your confirmation receipt.
UW-Whitewater softball clothing apparel will be available for purchase at the final registration station.
