Whistle While You Work
Sounds ‘N’ Visions is an opportunity for students (grades 2-5) to explore various musical
concepts. This year’s theme is “Whistle While You Work.” To accommodate the various ages
in attendance, groups will be divided by grade level with age-appropriate lessons.
Students will learn different musical concepts including: folk music, drumming, and improvisation. In addition students will have the opportunity to experience an instrumental petting zoo where they will have a hands on experience with different instruments. At the end of their adventure the students will give a final performance showcasing what they have learned. Come join us for an exciting musical adventure! It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
Parents may drop off their children in the morning and return for them at 12:00 p.m. There will
be a Parent/Guardian Lounge in the Greenhill Center of the Arts Conference Room (2080) with
coffee and doughnuts for those parents/guardians who wish to stay.
